Last sunday, I had the opportunity to give a conference to the OrangeFab Israel last batch of Startups to share my vision, as a founder and investor, on what’s a good startup.
I’m giving tips for both startup founders and investors.
Please find my slides below and don’t hesitate to comment it if you don’t understand a part of it!
Last year (2013), my friend Jacques Antoine Granjon, one , if not the most impressive and inspiring CEO I met in my life, gave us the pleasure to speak at our Kima Day event. Jacques Antoine is not only a awesome entrepreneur, he’s also investing in a lot of startups.
He talked about many things including the beginning of Vente Privee and the end of pure players in the ecommerce space.
Vente-Privee is the biggest ecommerce pure player in Europe. (more than 2000 people working there)
Vente-Privée.com plans to more than quadruple revenue in the next decade aiming for annual sales of 6 billion euros to 8 billion euros by about 2024 (from 1.6 billion euros in 2013)
Must Watch for ecommerce players!
The talk was recorded thanks to the 42 School Team.
One year ago, we setup an awesome event called Kima Day inviting hundreds of our portfolio startups in Paris for a full day of work and conferences.
One of the most interesting conference during this day was talking about how one of our fastest growing startup Lengow is selling his SAAS product to 2000+ customers all over the world (from France!). They have a lot more customers now 😉
Lengow allows ecommerce players to distribute their product catalogues on all comparison shopping sites, marketplaces, affiliate networks, social networks and sponsored links
Just watch and listen to their COO, Nenad Cetkovic:
J’avais posté il y a quelques mois l’annonce d’une conférence que j’ai donné au Google Campus de Tel Aviv avec le Rav Elie Lemmel. Je traite de ma vie perso qui lie l’étude de la Torah et du Talmud et ma vie d’entrepreneur, investisseur dans la High Tech entre autres :). J’y parle de notre surdépendance aux technologies.
Notez que cette conférence est destinée à tout public Juif ou non.
La conférence a été enregistrée et est visible ici sur Youtube
